DESCRIPTION:We are privileged to live in a county where our Sheriff and Cou
 nty Commissioners still honor the Constitution and the original intent of 
 our Founders. The principles and ideals that shaped this nation are not ju
 st words on paper—they are the foundation of our liberty\, secured throu
 gh the first ten amendments known as the Bill of Rights.\n\nA republic req
 uires constant vigilance. The Bill of Rights ordinance is to be our guide 
 for the management of the creature “the Federal government”.  We must
  keep the guard dog “Federal government” obedient to our command. The 
 Bill of Rights is a declaration for the protection of these liberties and 
 an acknowledgment of gratitude to God who gave us these liberties. The Bil
 l of Rights is the essence of the fundamental purpose of the constitution.
  We are the gatekeepers!\n\nNow\, those principles are being put into acti
 on here at home.\n\nLake County is exploring the adoption of a Bill of Rig
 hts Sanctuary County Ordinance—similar to what has been done in Collier 
 County. This is a meaningful step toward reaffirming and protecting our co
 nstitutional liberties at the local level. But our leaders cannot—and sh
 ould not—stand alone.\n\nIt is incumbent upon us\, the citizens of Lake 
 County\, to stand with them.  We educate ourselves not just for knowledge
 \, but for engagement. In a time when chaos and uncertainty exist across o
 ur nation\, we must focus on what we can control—and that starts right h
 ere in our county.\n\nWe now have leadership willing to take a stand. Now
  it’s our turn.\n\nHere’s what we must do:\n\nAttend the County Commis
 sion Meetings:\n\nMay 5\, 2026 at 9:00 AM – Discussion and move to adver
 tise\n\nMay 19\, 2026 at 9:00 AM – Final discussion and vote\n\nYour pre
 sence matters. A strong turnout sends a clear message that the people of L
 ake County support the protection of their constitutional rights. If you p
