This is a Call to Action to help express our patriotic response to an agenda item that will be on the agenda of the Lake County Commissioners on Sept 1st at 9am.  The more residents that show up will speak volumes to our commissioners.

Expansion of Clermont Islamic Center on Hancock Rd and Johns Lake Rd.

Islam must be stopped in Lake County and Florida.  Here are some facts.

Islam is an authoritarian political ideology, masquerading behind religious practices with the goal of global conquest. They immigrate, to take advantage of our Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion building mosques to promote Islam in (1) education (2) businesses and (3) promote their Islam religion. Promoting and conversion to Islam is their priority.

They slowly gain access to be on our school boards, city councils, county and state government. Once they are over 50% Muslim, they will institute Sharia law since according to their Quran they cannot live under non-Muslim rulers. We will become their subjects. It is happening in Dearborn, Michigan right now.

It is in direct conflict with our Constitution. It is unlike any other religion. Do other religions: Advocate the murder of former adherents? Allow marriage between adult men and prepubescent girls? Ban women from education and work? Immigrate to overwhelm and overthrow nations and civilizations?

We must call, email or write our county commissioners to stop the expansion of the Clermont Islamic Center. We can write an ordinance and strongly suggest our county commissioners follow the Florida law to ban Sharia Law. (HB-1471 signed into law on April 6th 2026),

Here is the information on HB-1471:
Among its provisions, HB 1471 specifically addresses the application of foreign and religious law in Florida. The law expressly includes Sharia law within its definition of religious law and prohibits Florida courts and other adjudicatory bodies from applying or enforcing foreign or religious law when doing so would violate a person’s constitutional rights. It also provides protections against foreign judgments, contractual provisions, and other attempts to circumvent those constitutional safeguards.
In short, Florida has acted to ensure that our Constitution remains the supreme law governing the rights of Floridians and that Sharia law—or any other foreign or religious legal code—cannot supersede those constitutional protections.
