In case you were NOT at the August Lake County Republican Meeting, our featured Speaker was Jay Collins. He spoke for about 20 minutes with no notes, giving us his experience as a veteran (thank you for your service), his family, his bills sponsored when in the Florida Senate, the wins, and his beliefs. He is a natural leader. He also took questions afterwards and expressed interest in pushing legislation on PC cap limits and “open carry” gun rights.
He is being thrown into the spotlight already. Governor Desantis just sent him to California to bring back the illegal immigrant truck driver who killed 3 people on our Florida Turnpike.
